Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' one of the most anticipated films of the year is fifty percent complete and the rest will happen only after the coronavirus pandemic ends as per the decision of the hero to ensure the safety of the cast and crew. Meanwhile there were talks in Bollywood circles that producer Boney Kapoor is likely to release all his upcoming films on OTT.

In his recent interview Boney Kapoor has put a full stop to such talks by stating "I strongly believe there are certain films, which are meant for larger-than-life, theatrical experience, and so, they should go to cinema halls first. As for me, I am extremely excited to bring my (new) films to the big screen.”. The top producer apart from 'Valimai' is also producing 'Vakil Saab' with Pawan Kalyan in the lead and 'Maidaan' starring Ajay Devgan.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja has Thala Ajith as a supercop with Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu and Telugu hero Karthikeya in the lead roles.
