Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' is without any doubt one of the movies in pan Indian trade carrying the most high expectations. The film is slated for release on Pongal 2022 with the high likelihood of the date being January 12th.

Meanwhile the Ritz Banu Cinemas in the Thirumangalam area of Madurai has already confirmed that it will be screening 'Valimai' on Pongal and the signing formalities are completed with the producer. The theater becomes the first in Tamil Nadu to make the announcement a good one and a half months before the release of the biggie which has made Thala fans go crazy with excitement.

'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. The principal cast comprises of Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu and Karthikeya.
