The most missed actor in Kollywood is Vadivelu who has not been seen on the big screen since 2017 when he costarred with Thalapathy Vijay in 'Mersal'. His much awaited 'Imsai Arasan 24 aam Pulikesi' produced by Shankar and directed by Chimbu Devan is also stopped due to creative differences between the ace comedian and the director.

Vadivelu after several months was spotted in Saligramam when he came to cast his vote on Thursday for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Speaking to newsmen the Vaigai Puyal stated that he is in no position to advice youngsters as they all have the world in their palms through cell phones and advice their parents what to do. He expressed his confidence that the people especially the youth would have voted for the right person and that a better government would rule the country and wipe off the tears of the people. He declined to answer any questions about his future film projects.
