'Uppena' stars 'Sye Raa' actor and Kollywood's Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as the second most important character after the hero. Starring Vaisshnav Tej as the hero, this one has Vijay in a powerful and masculine role. His look from the movie, in which he has a bearded avatar, is out.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film will hit the screens on April 2. Krithi Shetty is the heroine.

Also seen in the film are Sai Chand and Brahmaji in supporting roles. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' music director Devi Sri Prasad and Shamdat Sainudeen are the music director and cinematographer, respectively. Editing is by Naveen Nooli. Art Direction is by Mounika Ramakrishna.

Tej is the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej. His look from the movie was recently out.
