Last year, an 18-year-old girl was raped in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao. Allegedly, the perpetrator is Kuldip Singh Sengar, BJP MLA. Since the time the girl complained about the molestation, her father died under suspicious circumstances. On Sunday, her aunt and sister died in a road accident. Her lawyer is in the hospital, taking treatment for critical injuries.

The fate of the girl hands in fire. She awaits justice many months after attempting to molest herself in front of the residence of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. The Sunday accident has been seen by many as a case of conspiracy to eliminate the lawyer and even the victim.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today said that he is feeling shaken and shocked by the Unnao rape victim’s plight. "Are we living in a jungle raj? If we cannot protect our daughters and give them justice then we are doomed as a nation. I hope the Courts takes cognizance of the case and orders probe. Law must be upheld at all costs," he tweeted out.
