Kamal Haasan meets Fans clubs- entering active politics?

Yesterday the Kamal Haasan office in Alwarpet turned into a beehive of activity as leaders of his fan clubs across the state participated in a meeting in which senior advocates were also present. The current political situation in the State was the core topic while the procedures to face the legal hassles from the ADMK government were also probed.

It is reported that most of the fan club leaders were of the opinion that the Ulaganayagan should enter active politics. The legendary showman however, has told them that they are in politics right now and their job does not end with casting votes. There are whispers that the clubs were adviced to become completely functional as far as social issues are concerned. Knowing the Ulaganayagan this could well be a strong indication that he is indeed ready to take the plunge for what he believes even if it has forces a plunge in the murky waters of politics.
