The film ‘Lucky’, starring composer and actor GV Prakash Kumar, will skip a theatrical release and premiere directly on the JioHotstar OTT platform.

‘Lucky’ is a feel-good family entertainer centered around a puppy. The story follows a simple puppy, gifted to a young girl, that possesses a rare power to bring luck to its owners. When the dog is kidnapped by a politician, the plot focuses on the efforts made by GV Prakash to rescue the puppy and return it to the girl.

Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead opposite GV Prakash. The supporting cast includes Devadarshini, Kovai Sarala, Subbu Panchu, Daniel Annie Pope, and Elango Kumaravel.

Since films centered on animals have received positive responses recently, ‘Lucky’ is expected to highly appeal to children and family audiences.
