The break ‘Nenu Local’ has given him

Naveen Chandra was expected to get the much-deserved break after 'Andala Rakshasi', but he didn't.  Earlier, he had acted in two Tamil movies, which never hit the screens.   'Dalam', 'Tripura', 'Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi' and 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' followed.  But none of them gave the kind of recognition that 'Nenu Local' has.

The Nani-starrer, which has turned out to be a huge hit, sees him in the role of a cop with negative shades.  Playing Siddharth Varma was not an easy call for the actor.  He had to look fit.  So, he went through fitness training from Charan Thakur to play the IPS officer.  "Doing a police officer's role was always one of his dream  roles.  He thanks Dil Raju for offering such a role. He also thanks his make-up and hair stylist Ram for giving a fresh look," a spokesperson says.  Naveen is also grateful that director Trinadha Rao Nakkina visualized him in a new way.
