As the Tamil Film Producers Council Elections are fast nearing. At least three teams would be contesting in the election for the top officebearer posts and one among them is backed by the Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal.
Like Vishal, Udhayanidhi Stalin is also a popular hero and producer. But he has often criticised both the organisations.
Today he has said neither Nadigar Sangam nor Producers Council has supported him in any issue and hence he will not be offering support to anyone in the upcoming election.
" I am not in anyone's side. Both Nadigar Sangam and Producers Council have failed to support me when I faced problems in the past as an actor or a producer. So I never interfere in both and even they won't expect anything from me." the 'Gethu' actor said while addressing media persons in an extempore press meet.
He said he will however cast his vote for a candidate according to his personal choice.
Speaking about his father M.K.Stalin,becoming the Working President of DMK, Udhay said "I am happy that his hard work for the party has been rewarded.
For a question about Jallikattu, both Udhayanidhi and Soori said that they wholeheartedly support the traditional bull-taming sport.
Soori has acted with Udhayanidhi in director Ezhil's 'Saravana Irukka Bayamaen' which is ready for release and the duo are also acting together in 'Podhuvaaga En Manasu Thangam' directed by Thalapathi Dinesh. They are shooting for the film in Theni.
