TV actress Jhansi commits suicide

Television actress Jhansi aged 21 committed suicide by hanging herself in her residence. It has been reported that she took the extreme step as her parents did not approve her love affair with Surya a Vijayawada based businessman. It is also said that the deceased had a long phone conversation with her boyfriend on the day she died.

Naga Jhansi who hails from Madinepalli in Krishna district lived in Srinagar colony in Hyderabad. She is famous for her role in the serial 'Pavithra Bandham' and had avoided signing new projects as she was depressed by her parents non acceptance of her lover.
