'Tuck Jagadish', starring Nani in the lead, is rumoured to be skipping a theatrical release. Turns out that the rumour is false.
The makers of the Shiva Nirvana directorial on Thursday afternoon refuted the rumour that the film will have a direct-to-streamer release. Once the second wave subsides and the exhibition sector limps back to normalcy, the film will hit the screens.
It's reported that Bridge Cinemas is intent on capitalizing on the theatrical rights it holds.

The film, which co-stars Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh, will stream on Amazon Prime weeks after its theatrical run. And its satellite rights are held by Star Maa.
A song titled 'Inkosaari Inkosaari', shot on Nani and Ritu Varma, was released earlier this year. The film's teaser was released in February. Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Senior Naresh, Daniel Balaji and others are part of the cast. Produced jointly by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi of Shine Screens, the film has music by Thaman and cinematography by Prasad Murella.
'Tuck Jagadish' would have released in theatres on April 23 but for the pandemic. It might release later this year depending on the competition at the box-office.
