Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' is getting ready to hit the screens for Pongal 2019. The music launch is going to happen this evening at 6 PM. The makers have already released character introduction posters of actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazzudin Siddique from the film.

Apart from these two towering performers, the film also stars Trisha, Simran, Megha Akash. Sasikumar, Bobby Simha. Vivek Prasanna and many others.

Last month the makers announced that the Karthik Subbaraj directed film will be hitting the screens for Pongal festival in January 2019. The made this announcement with a poster featuring Rajinikanth and Simran in modern costumes

Now for the first time, Trisha's looks for the film has been revealed Trisha has shared the poster featuring herself with Thalaivar with the words "My dream come true to be pairing with the one and only SUPERSTAR ????
It is with pride and happiness I present...
#Petta #Saro #Thalaivar??

This confirms that Trisha's character name in the film is Saro and she plays one of the love interests of Rajinikanth. The poster features Trisha and Rajinikanth in a romantic moment as the former is sitting on a swing and Thalaivar is moving the latter is moving the swing from behind. Trisha wears a Bindhi which means she is married to Rajinikanth in the film. This makes as guess that she will be featuring in the flashback portions of the film.
