Why Was the Trailer Delayed?

In his official statement, Namit Malhotra said the trailer has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. He explained that the team wants to unveil the trailer through a synchronized global launch, ensuring audiences across the world experience it simultaneously.

The producer added that the revised release date for the trailer will be revealed shortly, asking fans to continue supporting the project.

Sony Pictures Partnership

Namit Malhotra also highlighted the film’s collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, calling it a milestone for Indian cinema. He said the partnership would help bring Ramayana to audiences across the globe on a scale comparable to major Hollywood productions.

According to him, the film aims not only to entertain but also to introduce India’s rich mythology, culture, and heritage to international audiences through world-class storytelling and cutting-edge visual effects.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features an ensemble cast led by:
