Tollywood celebs meet Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy

Tollywood luminaries recently convened with Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who has been appointed as the Minister of Cinematography in Telangana by the Congress. This marked the first interaction between the esteemed minister and members of the Telugu film industry since assuming office.

Guided by Dil Raju, the head of the Telugu Film Chamber, a delegation of influential personalities within the film industry extended their gratitude to Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for his pivotal role. The meeting, characterized by warmth and collaboration, saw the industry figures assuring the minister of their commitment to addressing all pertinent issues faced by the sector.

Notable celebrities present at the meeting included Dil Raju, K Raghavendra Rao, Suresh Babu, Prasanna, C Kalyan, and others. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy went a step further by pledging to facilitate a meeting with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, emphasizing the resolution of industry challenges in a timely manner. He conveyed that CM Revanth Reddy is well-informed about the industry’s concerns and shares a keen interest in propelling Tollywood’s development onto the fast track, garnering international acclaim.

In a significant development, on December 21, Komatireddy is set to accompany these members of the Telugu Film Industry for a special meeting with Telangana’s newly appointed Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy. Notably, when Komatireddy Venkat Reddy assumed office as the new cinematography minister, he expressed his dissatisfaction at the lack of congratulatory messages from the industry, excluding Dil Raju.

Prompted by his candid remarks, industry representatives assured that they were planning to meet and extend their congratulations to the minister soon. The Telugu Producers expressed their desire to foster a healthier relationship between the government and the film industry, underscoring the importance of collaboration for mutual growth.
