Karthi’s ‘Sardar 2’ to begin on this date? – Major change in crew

Karthi’s spy action thriller, ‘Sardar’, rocked the box office last year by grossing more than 100 crores. A sequel was announced for the PS Mithran directorial at the film’s success event. Karthi portrayed the dual roles of father and son in the first part. It ended with both of them being secret agents.

As per the reports, the latest buzz is that the shooting of Sardar 2 begins in April 2024. In the meantime, Karthi will complete the shooting of Nalan Kumarasamy and Premkumar movies. Yuvan Shankar Raja is set to replace GV Prakash as the music composer of the movie in the sequel. Yuvan has already worked with PS Mithran in ‘Irumbuthirai’ and ‘Hero’.

Director PS Mithran reportedly completed the script of Sardar 2. George C Williams, who did the cinematography for the first part, is coming back as the cinematographer of the sequel. Prince Pictures will be bankrolling this movie. The other details about the cast and crew are awaited.
