AIADMK General Secretary V.K.Sasikala's journey to become the Chief Minister faced another severe road block as a cabinet minister has announced his support to the interim Chief Minister O.Panneer Selvam.

Tamil Nadu's Education and Youth Welfare Minister Mafoi.K.Pandiarajan just visited Panneer Selvam's residence at GreenWays Road Chennai to offer his support for the latter to continue as Chief Minister.

Jointly addressing the media with OPS. Pandiarajan who was formerly with the BJP and later became an MLA of Vijayakanth's DMDK before switching over to AIADMK announced that one by one all the MLAs will come and support OPS.

"ADMK should not be broken. The party will remain strong under the leadership of Panneerselvam. I am confident that all the MLAs of the party will support him".

So far a handful of MLAs and a couple of MPs have sided with OPS apart from former MLAs, MPs and Presidium Chairman E.Madhusudhanan. However Mafoi is the first minister of the state to come out of Sasikala's camp and support OPS.
