A 21-year-old student who had tested positive for Coronavirus last week in Tamil Nadu has now recovered, announced the Tamil Nadu health minister Vijayabaskar on his Twitter handle.
The 21-year-old student was the third patient in Tamil Nadu who tested positive for Covid-19 and he was a student in Dublin, Ireland. He was getting treated in RGGH, Chennai.
Yesterday, Vijayabaskar announced his recovery, as he tweeted “Update: The 21 Y M who traveled from Dublin, Ireland has completely recovered from #COVID2019 & discharged from #RGGH after 2 subsequent mandatory tests proved -ve. He will continue to b home quarantined for d next 14 days. Appreciate d team who took care of this young man. #CVB”.
