Tiruppur woman dies giving birth at home following instructions on YouTube video

In a shocking incident a Tiruppur woman Kiritiga aged 32 died after giving birth to a girl child at home following childbirth instructions on YouTube.  It is said that Karthikeyan and Kiritiga were keen to have a child by natural means and not take any medication.  They were allegedly influenced by Karthikeyan’s colleague Praveen and his wife Lavanya and their first daughter aged three was also born by this experiment.

It is said that Kirutiga went into labour pain yesterday and her husband called Praveen and Lavanya home and three of them followed YouTube video instructions.  Though the baby was born naturally the mother after regaining conciousness had heavy bleeding which could not be stopped.  They then called 108 ambulance but was declared brought dead at the hospital.

It is said that Karthikeyan tried to conduct the burial but since there was no doctor certificate it was refused.  Kirutiga’s parents then went to the police who are investigating the issue.
