A news started doing the rounds that talks are going on with superstar Ajith Kumar to participate in the pre-release event of his upcoming movie 'Thunivu'. He has been avoiding such functions since 2010 and fans were anxious to see him in a public event that was planned to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Read : Breaking! Ajith through his official spokesperson Suresh Chandraa has put an end to the speculations by stating "A good film is promotion by itself!! - unconditional love! -
Ajith". The statement is clear that the box office king will stick to his long standing policy which fans have accepted happily in spite of their disappointment.

'Thunivu' is all set to release worldwide in theaters on Pongal 2023. The film directed by H. Vinoth is produced by Boney Kapoor with Manju Warrier playing the female lead and Samuthirakani in an important character.
