The encounters are a warning to villains: Megastar Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi has welcomed the killings of the four rapists in the Disha case.  Days after saying that the criminals should be publicly hanged to send out a strong message, the former Rajya Sabha MP today issued a statement hours after the encounters.  

“As soon as I learned about the murder of the four rape-accused in an encounter this morning, I felt that it’s instant and social justice.  This is a warning bell for all those who are blinded by basal instincts.  With the encounters, Disha’s soul must now rest in peace.  It’s a kind of consolation to the victim’s devastated parents.  This is a lesson for all those human beasts who regard women as objects.  The encounters will hopefully send shivers down the spine of potential criminals.  It’s happy to note that the issue has come to closure within just a week.  I appreciate the Hyderabad police and the KCR government,” the ‘Sye Raa’ actor said.
