That’s why I have donated Rs 30 lakh for Ram Temple in Ayodhya: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan on Friday donated Rs 30 lakh for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Hindu organizations such as VHP have been mobilizing funds from across the country. The Jana Sena chief gave his reason for making the big monetary contribution.

“Sri Rama’s life is known for patience, sacrifice, and valour. If India could survive so many invasions, it’s because we have always followed the path laid down by Him. He is the epitome of our Dharma. This is the reason I have made this donation towards a temple that is being built to celebrate Him,” the actor-politician said.

He revealed that his team members too pooled funds for the cause. “In all, they have pooled Rs 11,000. Muslims and Christians, too, are there among them,” Pawan said.

The actor recently resumed his work on Krish Jagarlamudi’s untitled movie. He will shoot for the remake of ‘Ayyappanu Koshiyum’, co-starring Rana Daggubati, soon. His ‘Vakeel Saab’ will release for Ugadi.
