As we all know Ilayathalapathy Vijay is presently busy shooting for his landmark 60th film directed by Bharathan of 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' fame. The film produced by the prestigious Vijaya Productions banner has a ensemble of star cast that includes many veterans and prominent young artists.

Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead opposite Vijay in the film. Now the latest information that has been leaked from the shooting spot is that National award winning actor Thambi Ramiah plays the role of Keerthy's Thai Mama (Maternal uncle). This character plays a vital role in uniting Vijay and Keerthy in wedlock in the film.

Apart from this the film stars Sathish, Aparna Vinod, Y.Gee.Mahendra, Aadukalam Naren and many others in the supporting cast. it is being reported that the story is mainly based in Tirunelveli district and Vijay is mastering over the Nellai slang of Tamil language for his character in the film.
