Even as Thalapathy Vijay is on the verge of completing his 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures the confirmation has already come about Atlee directing his next most probably produced by AGS Entertainment.

Atlee in an Independence Day special broadcast interaction has revealed that fans and general audience can expect the unexpected with regards to 'Thalapathy 63'. He has stated that it would be something special that has never been attempted by him or others with Vijay. A question was posed whether there is pressure on him after giving back to back 100 Crores movies 'Theri' and 'Mersal' with Thalapathy Vijay. The confident Atlee asserted that he never has fears about his craft and this time he is even more bold in his script but refused to reveal anything more about it as it is in the nascent stage.
