Thalapathy Vijay has ruled the hearts of his fans for over 25 years not only in south Indian regions but all over the world. His latest worldwide success from 'Mersal' is an example. His film release days are a festive ocassion for millions of loyal fans.

Last year fans celebrated his completion of 25 years in cinema as an actor. But this day also happens to be a very important day in his career. Vijay was introduced as child artist thus making his first big screen appearance this same date February 17 in 1984 in his father S.A.Chanrasekhar's directorial 'Vetri'.

Sure this is an ocassion of joy and celebration for Thalapathy Vijay fans all over the world !
