Meanwhile, the actor's next project with director Venkat Prabhu is turning out to be the biggest movie of 2024. The team is leaving no stone unturned to make 'Thalapathy 68' an epic extravaganza.
AGS Entertainment is bankrolling Thalapathy 68. According to the latest reports, director Venkat Prabhu, producer Archana Kalpathi and Vijay's manager Jagadish jetted off to Los Angeles last night. They will be working out the advanced VFX, 3D face scanning technology at the world's best USE (University of Southern California) Institute of Creative Technologies.
It is likely to be tried out on Thalapathy Vijay, who is said to be playing double roles in the film. This technology has been previously used in films like Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fan' and Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2'. Sources tell us that one of the characters played by Thalapathy Vijay will be very different and difficult. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for the movie. The shooting will commence by October/November.
