Thalapathy Vijay fans are working double hard on social media and offline to make June 22nd,their idol's birthday a memorable one. The expectations among them is that the first look poster of 'Thalapathy 66' will be unveiled as a grand treat. Since it is already confirmed that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing 'Thalapathy 67' there is also a strong buzz that the official announcement of this project too will be made on the same day.

However, though producers of both the films will want to make a big impact on the special day there is danger of one dominating the other which may turn out to be counter productive. A few industry insiders are suggesting that only 'Thalapathy 66' first look will be released on Vijay's birthday.

On the other hand different sources say that there is a likelihood of one of the two events to happen on June 21st on the eve of Vijay's birthday and the other may arrive on the 22nd. With this plan each of the film projects will dominate the social media space on separate days and at the same time fans will be on celebration mode continuously. Anyway we have to wait and watch if Vijay fans will get a double treat for his birthday or a massive single event to celebrate to the max. Stay tuned.

'Thalapathy 66' is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju with music by Thaman. The ensemble star cast comprises of Vijay, Mahesh Babu (rumoured cameo role), Prabhu, Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Khushbu and Jayasudha.

'Thalapathy 67' is set to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music and the core team of 'Vikram' on board. Dhanush and Samantha are said to be in talks for the antagonist and heroine respectively.
