Thalapathy Vijay's fans were waiting for the release of his new movie 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi which was scheduled for release on April 9th but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. For now it looks like the film will hit the screens only on Diwali 2020 when normalcy is expected to return.

Meanwhile Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster hit 2019 film 'Bigil' is all set to re-release in Germany and France as a huge birthday treat to his fans in those countries. In European countries theaters have reopened with restrictions and are beginning to screen films and Vijay's film is one of the first to hit the screens after a gap of more than two months.

'Bigil' will be exhibited at Cinemaxx in Germany and Gaumont St Dennis in France from June 22nd to June 30th. The film directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment has Vijay in dual roles as father and son with Nayanthara, Kathir, Indhuja, Vivek and Jackie Shroff in the cast. A.R. Rahman has scored the music with G.K. Vishnu handling the camera, Ruben the editing and T. Muthuraj the production design..
