If ‘Baahubali-The Beginning’ necessitated her to learn sword-fighting, what is ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ demanding of Tamannaah Bhatia? A classical dance form. And it’s Bharatanatyam.
Saying that she had always been wanting to train in an Indian dance form, the acclaimed actress tells an English-language daily that Chiranjeevi’s period drama needs her to learn Bharatanatyam and she is glad about it. Describing the classical dance form as “extremely difficult to learn”, Tamannaah comments that it also “activates your arms and legs”. Given these qualities of the dance, she wouldn’t mind spending less time in the gym.
‘Naa Nuvve’, directed by Jayendra, will hit the screens on June 14. She is paired up with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the romantic drama.
