Even as the country is still reeling from the unexpected loss of young Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide early Sunday morning after having battled depression for a long period of time, the deceased actor's sister-in-law passed away yesterday after she fell unconscious at his funeral.

34-year-old Sushant, who had been going through a difficult time emotionally, took his own life on Sunday. He was found hanging in his room and his funeral was held in Mumbai, which was attended by his family, friends, and celebrities, including Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ranvir Shorey, and Vivek Oberoi. According to reports, Sushant's cousin brother's wife, Sudha Devi has passed away at his native, Purnia in Bihar as she couldn't bear the loss of Sushant. She reportedly breathed her last at his funeral. Reports further mention that she refused to eat anything ever since she heard the news of Sushant's passing.

Sushant, who made his Bollywood debut with the film Kai Po Che, was last seen in the 2019 blockbuster Chhichhore. The actor received critical acclaim for his portrayal of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in his biopic.
