Actor Suriya will be seen next on screen in director Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru, which is inspired by the life of former Army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. The trailer of the movie has released today amidst huge expectations.

The trailer presents moments from the journey of Maara (Nedumaran Rajangam) who dares to dream big, and launch a low cost flight, his dream being ridiculed in his village, support from his family, love, struggles, competitors wanting him to fall, getting rejected by many, and gives a glimpse of the rags to riches tale of a man from simple background becoming a legend celebrated by the nation. The stunning background score by GV Prakash and visuals by cinematographer Niketh Bommi further elevate the journey of Maara.

Also starring Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, Mohan Babu, Karunaas, Kali Venkat and Urvashi, Soorarai Pottru is set to premiere on Amazon prime video on November 12, and this trailer has just increased the expectations on the movie to a whole new level, guaranteeing fireworks this Diwali.
