Suriya has teamed up with director Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame for his 38th movie which was recently revealed to be titled as Soorarai Pottru and the first look poster of the movie was released last week.

Soorarai Pottru is produced by Suriya's 2D entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment of Guneet Monga, and now within days of starting the shoot, the team has wrapped their first schedule in Chennai soon, with some crucial scenes featuring Suriya and the female lead Aparna Balamurali.

Soorarai Pottru is said to be inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder and former Indian army Captain GR Gopinath, and has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy. Reportedly Suriya will be seen sporting multiple looks in this exciting project.
