Suriya is one of the most bankable stars in South Indian cinema. He is all set to start 'Suriya 43' with director Sudha Kongara soon. Meanwhile, we already informed you that he is now shooting for his magnum opus film, 'Kanguva', in Thailand. Now, we have hot updates on the project.

Earlier, it was reported that the Thailand schedule is the final schedule of Kanguva. Now, Studio Green CEO Dhananjeyan in a recent interview said that the team recently completed the Thailand schedule. They are now busy with set works for the next schedule. Suriya will complete his portions in the movie by November.

Dhananjeyan added that Kanguva is aiming for a grand release by April or May 2024. As the film is slated to release in 3D and 10 languages, the makers need some time to convert, dub and position the film globally. The crew will plan the post-production, dubbing and promotions will begin after the completion of the shoot. The release date will be announced after that.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva features Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natty Nataraj, Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, BS Avinash and others. The technical team comprises Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer, Vetri Palanisamy as the DOP and Nishadh Yusuf as the editor.
