We all know that Suriya is currently shooting for director Siruthai Siva's magnum opus 'Kanguva'. The makers commenced a new schedule last week in Kodaikanal and Suriya's brother Karthi confirmed the same in the 'PS-2' pre-release event. Now, we have some exciting updates about the movie.

The team is presently shooting at the forest areas in Kodaikanal. As we reported earlier, the periodic portions are being shot in this schedule. This leg of filming will go on for around 3 weeks (20 days). Actor BS Avinash of 'KGF' fame is also part of the star cast. Disha Patani is playing the leading lady opposite Suriya.

Kanguva also stars Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Anandaraj, Kovai Sarala and Ravi Raghavendra in pivotal roles. The film is expected to be a period fantasy film featuring Suriya in multiple roles and getups. Produced by UV Creations and Studio Green, the movie is slated to hit the screens in over 10 languages in 3D on a festival date in early 2024.
