Suriya and Jyothika celebrated the festival of lights with their family. Amidst the celebration, they did not forget to convey their wishes to their fans and shared a video on their social media handle. The pair wore matching traditional outfits and wished the fans a very happy and prosperous Diwali.

On the work front, Suriya, who has been consistently choosing quality films in Tamil cinema, is currently starring in ‘Vanangan’ directed by Bala, ‘Vadivasal’ directed by Vethimaran and a yet-to-be-titled film directed by Siruthai Siva.

Recently the duo also received National Awards for the 2020 period drama film, Soorarai Pottru on September 30. While Suriya was adjudged the Best Actor for his performance in Soorarai Pottru, Jyotika received the Best Feature Film award as the producer of the film at the 68th National Film Awards ceremony held at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
