Rajini and Kamal celebrate Diwali in different styles with family

Diwali 2022 was celebrated peacefully throughout the state of Tamil Nadu and many parts of India.  Kollywood celebrities have shared joyous moments with their families on social media.  Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan the legends of Tamil cinema celebrated the festival of lights with their families as well but in their unique styles as well.

Adorable photos from the Rajinikanth household shows the thespian in his simple white shirt and veshti watching with keen eyes as daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth is doing rituals to grandsons Yathra and Linga.  Latha Rajinikanth and other family members also were spotted.

Kamal Haasan on the other hand spent his day with close friend Santhana Bharathi and his son Sanjay Bharathi.  He also posed with his younger daughter Akshara Haasan in his ‘Devar Magan’ movie style,

Earlier in the morning a large crowd of fans gathered at the Rajinikanth residence in Poes Garden and the Thalaivar appeared near the gate and waved his Diwali wishes to them.  The Aandavar on the other hand took to Twitter to write in Tamil “Let all life turn to bliss. All diseases be cured. Realize that all consciousness is the same. Dispel darkness with light. Increase joy in the mind. My Diwali wishes.”

Rajini is currently acting ‘Jailer’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music.  Kamal apart from hosting ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 6’ will soon resume the remaining portion of shooting for Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ produced by Lyca Productions for which Anirudh is again the music director.
