We all know that the super successful 'Soorarai Pottru' combo is coming back for a new film tentatively called 'Purananooru'. This project marks Suriya's 43rd movie directed by Sudha Kongara. Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim and Vijay Varma are part of this film's ensemble star cast.

We have learnt that 'Suriya 43' will go on the floors in Madurai in January 2024. The set works are currently going on in American College. Sources tell us that Suriya plays a college student who enters politics in a certain portion of the movie. He will be undergoing intense weight loss for the student role. He will commence shooting in January.

Reportedly, Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim will be a part of the first schedule. 'Suriya 43' has music by GV Prakash Kumar and it marks the composer's 100th film. 2D Entertainment is producing the venture. On the other hand, we hear that Suriya will wrap up shooting for the magnum opus 'Kanguva' next week. It is directed by Siruthai Siva.
