Suriya's recent blockbuster hit 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara is continuing to win accolades by finding its place among the very best films in world cinema and applause in the various international film festivals. The hardworking star has currently shot for three movies 'Navarasa', 'Suriya 39' and 'Suriya 40' which are under various stages of production.

Director Pandiraj who is helming 'Suriya 40' came on Twitter spaces on Wednesday in a special conversation initiated by Studio Green in praise of Karthi who celebrated his birthday recently.

Pandiraj revealed that he is avoiding social media because fans are pestering him for 'Suriya 40' updates and he is unable to handle that. He added that how his 'Kadaikutty Singam' starring Karthi was able to satisfy all sections of the audiences and stakeholders similarly his film will be for Suriya fans. He revealed that the scenes that have already shot are amazing and he promises that the film will be a milestone in the career of Suriya.

'Suriya 40' is produced by Sun Pictures with music by D. Imman and stars Suriya and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the lead pair while Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, and Soori costar along with a host of leading character actors.
