Superstar Rajinikanth had just delivered the superhit entertainer Petta, the action thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj and next he has signed a project to be helmed by AR Murugadoss who last delivered the political entertainer Sarkar with Thalapathy Vijay.

The first look of the movie Darbar has been released today, and the movie referred to as Thalaivar 167 (a) Darbar has its first look with Superstar Rajnikanth sporting a khaki avatar and with his trademark style intact and the first look poster has turned out to be a treat for fans.

The movie is expected to release on Pongal 2020 and will have lady superstar Nayanthara as Rajnikanth's pair. Anirudh will yet again score music after Petta and Santosh Sivan is back with Superstar after Thalapathy. Thalaivar 167 is produced by Lyca Productions.
