'Maanagaram'- Rules the Box Office in its 3rd weekend

Debutant director Lokesh Kanakaraj's 'Maanagaram' has successfully completed three weekends at the Chennai Box Office and still retains the second place in the list of top ten films in Chennai Box office over the weekend.

Last weekend which saw a slew of new Tamil films released 'Managaram' has been retained in 11 screens across Chennai. The film had 81 shows screened in the three day weekend and the shows enjoyed a fantastic 90% occupancy. With this the film has collected Rs.23,54,220 in Chennai over the weekend. The overall collections made by the film in Chennai has crossed Rs.1 crore as the collection figure has been pegged at Rs.1,07,84,030.

The collections made by the film in its third weekend is better than that of the first weekend which is a clear sign that the film has achieved success through the positive word of mouth.

'Maanagaram' has been declared as the Third Hit of the year in Kollywood.
