‘Sulthan’ Trailer: Of 100 rowdies and one brave man’s mission

The trailer of ‘Sulthan’ is a blend of intense story-telling and fun, involving Karthi and 100 goondas on the one side, and Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna on the other side. For the ‘Geetha Govindam’ heroine, this is a typical Kollywood-esque role wherein she plays a village belle.

The story of the film is set in a badland filled with rowdies. Karthi plays a gutsy pacifist who takes up the cause of reforming them.

Kollywood comedian Yogi Babu, Mollywood actor Lal and Haressh Peradi, among others, will be seen in crucial roles. Helmed by Bhagyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame, the film has the songs set to tune by Vivek Mervin.

Bankrolled by SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, the entertainer will hit the screens on April 2. It will officially lock horns with Nagarjuna’s ‘Wild Dog’ in the main. If Gopichand’s ‘Seetimaarr’ releases, it will be a triangular fight at the Telugu box-office.
