Suriya who tasted the massive success of 'Soorarai Potru' is shooting for his next flick with Pandiraj. The film is yet to be named and is tentatively called Sutya 40. Shooting for this film is expected to go on floor soon after the curfew is relaxed.

The latest buzz states that, Suriya 40 is solely based on the horrific Pollachi incident that occurred in Tamil Nadu. The film's plot revolves around Suriya's fight for women, and the director is said to have incorporated certain real-life episodes from the Pollachi incident into the screenplay.

The makers, on the other hand, have not confirmed the aforesaid report yet . Suriya was seen with a rifle and a knife in previously leaked photos from 'Suriya 40,' which piqued fans' interest. Almost half of 'Suriya 40' was completed and the director anticipates starting the next schedule in the first weeks of July.

The first look poster of this film is expected to be released on July 23 to coincide with Suriya's birthday. Priyanka Mohan, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Cibi, Jaya Prakash, and other well-known actors are a part of this film and is produced by Sun pictures.
