Taking a belligerent posture in the ‘Gutka’ controversy, DMK’s working president M.K. Stalin has dared Tamil Nadu Health Minister Vijayabhaskar to file a defamation suit against him if he had any self-esteem.
Stalin was distribution pamphlets in Perambur, Chennai containing information intended to create awareness among the people on how to stay away from getting affected by dengue.
“The present AIADMK regime headed by Edapadi K. Palaniswami might fall at any moment; it can happen today, tomorrow or the day-after-tomorrow as the Govt. has already started counting its days. Health Minister Vijayabhaskar, who became ‘Gutka’ Vijayabhaskar, has now become ‘dengue’ Vijayabhaskar. He is an epitome of treachery and doesn’t deserve to hold the Minister’s post.
“I have been discharging my duties as the Leader of the Opposition in a sincere manner. If Vijayabhaskar felt aggrieved about my comments, why didn’t he file a defamation suit against me? Let him do so if he possessed self-esteem,” Stalin concluded.
