The first look and motion poster of ‘AASMAAN’, starring Meghamsh Srihari in the lead role, were unveiled on Saturday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late actor Srihari. The intriguing motion poster has already sparked curiosity, offering a glimpse into the unique world of the film.
Presented by Mrs. Kondaru Srinivasa Rao under the Sri Kleemkara Celluloid banner, ‘AASMAAN’ is directed by Ram Nandan and produced by Kondaru Venkatesh and Mannem Srikanth. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Arabic.
The motion poster features Meghamsh standing inside a giant palm while holding a torch. The forehead of the mysterious person to whom the palm belongs can also be seen, along with a uniquely designed bindi. Several people holding torches surround the giant palm, creating several intriguing questions about the identity of the mysterious figure and Meghamsh’s character.
The makers are promising a completely different cinematic experience with ‘AASMAAN’. Director Ram Nandan said the film will surprise audiences in theatres and thanked producer Kondaru Venkatesh and Meghamsh for placing their trust in him. He also praised cinematographer Shoaib for his visuals and said Meghamsh is a hero both on and off screen.
Srihari’s family was also present at the first look event. Shanti Srihari expressed her gratitude to the director and producers for believing in Meghamsh and giving him the opportunity to lead the project. She praised his dedication and said that, after seeing the poster, she felt she was looking at a lion rather than the little boy she still sees at home.
Meghamsh Srihari thanked the producers for the opportunity and spoke positively about his experience working with director Ram Nandan. He revealed that Rayanch is playing the female lead and praised Prashanth R Vihari’s background score. He added that more details about the film would be revealed during the upcoming promotional campaign.
Producer Kondaru Venkatesh expressed confidence in the film and praised Meghamsh’s physique, energy and acting ability. He also thanked Shanti Srihari for her constant support and hoped that the film would receive the love of audiences.
Heroine Rayanch said she was excited to be part of ‘AASMAAN’ and thanked the director and producers for trusting her. She revealed that the team is nearing completion of the shoot and requested audiences to extend their support to the film.
Music director Prashanth R Vihari described ‘AASMAAN’ as a rare and different kind of project in Telugu cinema. Cinematographer Shoaib also praised the conviction with which director Ram Nandan narrated the story and expressed his gratitude for being part of the film.
Actor Ravi Varma, who had worked with Srihari in ‘Weekend Love’, recalled his association with the late actor and said it was special to see the first look of ‘AASMAAN’ being unveiled on Srihari’s birth anniversary. He also drew a comparison between Srihari and Meghamsh, praising the latter’s energetic and powerful screen presence.
With its mysterious motion poster, multi-language release plan and Meghamsh Srihari in a powerful new avatar, ‘AASMAAN’ has created considerable curiosity. The makers are expected to reveal more details about the film and its release in the coming days.
