Sri Reddy came to the limelight by exposing the casting couch system that exists in Telugu cinema and she even went to the extent of releasing compromising photographs of her with a leading producer's son. Later she irked Pawan Kalyan fans by making derogatory statements about the Powerstar.

The latest target of Sri Reddy seems to be actor 'Nani' of 'Veppam' and 'Naan E' fame. Sri Reddy has stated that she was approached to be a contestant on the show and had agreed but did not hear from the producers after that. Sri Reddy has alleged that Nani had threatened to walk out of the show if she was a part of it. Nani has denied this and also warned people not to listen to the starlet going by her unreliable track record.

Sri Reddy has however taken to social media and has threatened Nani first by posting "“Nani + Sri reddy =dirty picture..when??coming soon .. (sic),”.
