It's known that Murthy, a prominent journalist, recently carried a "sting operation" against Jana Sena party on Mahaa TV. He has been accused of being biased by Pawan Kalyan's supporters.

The news is that Murthy has resigned from the said organization. He tendered his resignation to the management on principle earlier this week. As per a statement made by him, the channel management decided to stop the "sting operation" without bringing it to a logical conclusion. This made Murthy openly differ with his bosses, who apparently refused to budge.

Post his resignation, Murthy has said that he stands by what he has accused Jana Sena of doing. He stated that the party's meeting in a star hotel in Hyderabad was a secretive one and that it was a casteist meeting.

He added that he is hardly against Pawan Kalyan's party.
