An hour ago news broke out from authentic movie industry sources that legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam has tested negative for coronavirus and is on the road to recovery. The news was welcomed with huge relief by millions of fans who have been praying for the wellbeing of the celebrated singer.

SPB Charan has posted a video clarification in which he has dismissed the news as a rumor and has asserted that whatever updates regarding the health of his dad will be given by himself. He has however added that his father was still on life support and fortunately his condition is stable and the family is hoping that this could aid in the recovery of the affected lungs.

SPB was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on August 5th after he tested positive for COVID19 and he had only mild symptoms for ten days but worsened on the 13th nigh since when he is on ventilator and ECMO support.
