Sivakarthikeyan, one of the most-wanted heroes in Kollywood, moved to the next level by signing a direct Tollywood film with director Anudeep of Jathi Ratnalu fame. Tentatively titled 'SK20', the Tamil-Telugu bilingual project's shooting kickstarted earlier in February with a formal pooja.

Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Cinemas and Shanthi Talkies, 'SK20' is said to have Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka and famous south actress Ritu Varma as the female leads. It also has Naveen Polishetty, Sathyaraja, Premgi Amaran and Prankster Rahul in supporting roles.

Now, the hot news is that the filming is set to be wrapped up soon. The team is briskly shooting for 'SK20' in Karaikal and the current schedule is expected to go on till the end of March. With only a small portion to be completed after that, the makers are looking forward to wrapping up the shooting by April 2022.

'SK20' has 'Beast' cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera with Thaman scoring music for Sivakarthikeyan for the first time. The story is said to be based on the romance between a foreign girl and a tourist guide in Pondicherry. On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don' is scheduled to be released on May 12.
