Sivakarthikeyan’s total rural mass hero avatar – ‘Seemaraja’ teaser review

The much awaited teaser and audio launch of Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Seemaraja’ was held at a grand event in Madurai with much fanfare.  The teaser is a complete colour filled extravaganza from Ponram and 24 AM Studios team that promises a complete rural mass hero turn for Sivakarthikeyan.

The less than a minute cut of ‘Seemaraja’ sets up the story nicely touting Sivakarthikeyan as a royal descendant at loggerheads with a female antagonist Simran. Samantha is the martial arts exponent rural belle who would obviously romance the hero and Soori the quintessential sidekick.  There is a shot of a suit clad Seemaraja walking off from an helicopter that adds to the intrigue.  Looks like history, rural and urban elements will collide to create a total family entertainer.  As far as the teaser is concerned its an easy sell considering the fine job of production design, cinematography, editing and music score.  Makes one wait for the Sivakarthikeyan- Ponram magic to play out on the big screens on September 13th.
