You probably switched on your smartphone this morning and noticed logged on to your favourite app Musical.ly. And guess what you noticed? New logo, new name. Yes, it’s no more Musical.ly, henceforth, it shall be known as TikTok.
The app has been taken over by ByteDance, a Chinese firm in November 2017. However, the new interface will retain the core feature: short 15 second videos. It is also worth mentioning here that Musical.ly just reached the milestone of 100 million users.
While some users are happy with the name and interface change, many are confused and bit put off by the modification into TikTok. What do you think is a better experience? Musical.ly of TikTok? Comment your opinions below!
