Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Anudeep KV which is produced by Suniel Narang, D. Suresh Babu, and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Suresh Productions.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Maria Ryaboshapka and Sathyaraj. It revolves around a teacher from Pondicherry falling in love with a British teacher from his school, which attracts opposition from others in the town.
Though the film was filled with some humour elements, the film failed at the box office and causes almost a 15 crore loss to the producers. Now the producer himself has opened up about why the movie became a box office flop.
K Rajan who produced the film said in an interview, "If a film succeeds, the director is responsible for it. The reason for that is the producers who spent the money and the writers who wrote the story. If it fails, it is the director's fault. Thambi Sivakarthikeyan's films Doctor and Don were successful. But Prince, which was released after that, was not a hit. The director is responsible for that."
